Protect our lungs with cabbage

Since some years it has been studied the virtues of the plants of the genus of the Brassicaceae, especially cabbage and broccoli. Are studied for their antioxidant properties, preventing certain cancers, especially those affecting the airways.
The antioxidants contained in them are of glucosinolates, particularly effective against the level of the respiratory damage caused by smoking and air pollution. However it is difficult to obtain these benefits results only through dietary intake.
A recent Italian research team has discovered that the seeds of cabbage are very rich in glucosinolates than other plants of this family and have found a way to obtain a dry extract. Biological efficacy tests are now very positive results and now expects the commercial development of the patent.
